We develop resources to support high quality children and young people’s cancer services, including our Telephone Triage Toolkit, as well as position statements and service development resources.

Ambulatory care resources

Ambulatory Care (AC) is a model of healthcare that helps patients receive medical treatment without staying in the hospital overnight. In the UK cancer setting, it has come to refer to the hospital-led coordination and delivery of treatments that traditionally require an inpatient stay.

How research funds work

When you make a donation to or raise funds to a CCLG Research Fund, 100% of your donation will fund research into whatever the fund supports.

Cancer and relationships

Going through cancer and its treatment can affect the relationships you have with people, including your parents and family, friends and partners. You might find that having cancer makes some of your relationships stronger. You might make new friends, or find new qualities in the relationships you already have.

Cancer and its treatments can affect how you look. Some changes are temporary, such as losing your hair during chemotherapy. But even if you know some side effects won’t last, it doesn’t mean they will be easier to deal with.
