The Children and Young People’s Cancer Coalition (CYPCC) is a CEO-led charity coalition, bringing together more than 40 charities with an interest in children and young people’s cancer.
We’re committed to making sure the voices and experiences of children and young people with cancer, as well as their families, are at the heart of everything we do.
In 2019, CCLG: The Children and Young People’s Cancer Association and The Little Princess Trust partnered with the James Lind Alliance (JLA) on a Priority Setting Partnership (PSP).
Being our charity partner today will fund research through CCLG, the experts in childhood cancer and help to change the future for all children with cancer.
Through our membership network, we have fast access to researchers and can ensure that funds are directed to the right research as quickly as possible.

High-income countries can now cure around 80% of children with cancer, but in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) the cure rate can be as low as 20% or less.
Cancer is a disease that makes certain cells in the body grow and divide uncontrollably. Normally, healthy cells grow, divide and, in time, get worn out and die. If something goes wrong this process gets out of control, so the cells carry on dividing and don’t die in the normal way.
