Cycle from London to Paris for CCLG
Take on one of Europe’s classic cycling challenges and pedal from London to Paris while raising money to support children and young people with cancer.
Your cycling adventure will run from 8- 12 September 2027 and start in the capital before heading through the lush green Kent countryside and then across the Channel. Once in France, you’ll cycle through pretty country roads, charming villages and medieval market towns as you make your way towards the French capital.
Accompanied and led by the Discover Adventure team, you can expect long days in the saddle, challenging climbs and around 300 miles to cover; this is a cycling challenge suitable for anyone who can train in advance. After four days on the bike, you’ll be rewarded with an unforgettable finish beneath the magnificent Eiffel Tower, not to mention a huge sense of achievement. On your final morning, you'll get to enjoy Paris before travelling back to London by Eurostar.
The challenge will support CCLG and the amazing work they do to help children and young people with cancer, their families and the professionals who care for them.
Challenge details
The route takes you from London to Dover, where you'll cross the Channel by ferry, before cycling from Calais to Abbeville, Beauvais and finally Paris.
The four cycling days cover approximately 85 miles, 71 miles, 65 miles and 50 miles, with a mix of rolling countryside, longer climbs and flatter stretches.

What's included?
Included: Travel from London to Paris and back by ferry and Eurostar, four nights' hotel accommodation on a twin-share basis, most meals, Discover Adventure crew, vehicle support throughout the trip, route information and transport of your bike back to London St Pancras. Discover Adventure also offsets 100% of the carbon emissions generated by the trip.
Not included: You’ll need to provide your own bike, cycle helmet and water bottles. Travel insurance, personal spending money, drinks, and any meals not listed.
Funding your challenge

1. Full payment option
Pay a £149 non-refundable registration fee, plus £1,025 to Discover Adventure eight weeks before departure. No minimum fundraising target here, so anything you raise will directly support CCLG.
2. Part-payment option*
Pay a £149 non-refundable registration fee, plus a £250 contribution towards your trip costs 10 weeks before departure. Commit to raising £1,550 for CCLG.
3. Fundraising option*
Pay a £149 non-refundable registration fee and commit to raising £2,050 for CCLG.
NB.* For the part-payment and fundraising options, Discover Adventure requires at least 80% of the fundraising target to be paid to the charity 10 weeks before departure, with the remaining 20% due within two weeks of your return. Discover Adventure sets the payment and fundraising deadlines for each option.
