Imaging Science Day

Our first CCLG Imaging Science Day will be held in person on Friday 5th September 2025 at Conference Aston, Birmingham, B4 7ET.

Everyone with an interest in imaging science in paediatric oncology is welcome to join us so please encourage all members of your team to attend. The day will feature a varied and engaging programme from international expert multidisciplinary speakers presenting new developments and research.

Aims of the day

  • To bring together those working in, with and interested in childhood cancer imaging.
  • Present and share work, identify areas of common interest and need, and support development of the next generation of studies/awards.
  • Reinvigorate the CCLG Functional Imaging Group (likely to be renamed Imaging Science Group) and Radiology Groups, identify new leadership and goals going forward.

Short overview talks, power pitches, discussion times and networking opportunities.

Abstract submission

We are interested to hear about your work on imaging science. This is your opportunity to share your work with our community of healthcare professionals who care for children and young people. If you would like to give a 10-minute presentation or 3-minute power pitch, please get in touch. Presentation abstracts (250 word maximum Word document) or a proposed power pitch should be sent to research@cclg.org.uk. The deadline for submission is 17:00 on Friday 1st August 2025.
