Winter Wellbeing Walk

Give your mind and body a boost this January and February by joining our Winter Wellbeing Walk. Walk 100 miles by the end of February 2024 to help fund vital research into childhood cancers.

Walking in the fresh air is a natural mood booster! So why not join our Winter Wellbeing Walk and get outdoors, take part in gentle physical activity and breathe deeper to help boost your immune system, reduce stress levels and brighten your mood this winter!

How to take part

The Winter Wellbeing Walk will take place throughout January and February, but you can sign up today by following these simple steps:

  1. Complete the sign up form and create your Facebook fundraising page. Don’t use Facebook? No problem! Set up a JustGiving page instead.
  2. Join our Winter Wellbeing Walk Facebook group to connect and cheer on your fellow fundraisers and receive updates throughout the month.
  3. Choose how you complete 100 miles distance by the end of February, for example, by walking 5 miles a day, or 20 miles every weekend.
  4. Once you've raised over £10, we'll send you a free #ChallengeChildCancer t-shirt or, if you're planning on taking your best four-legged friend with you, a doggy bandana!
  5. Plan your route and share your pictures and videos on our Facebook group, tweet or tag us on Instagram.

Every penny you raise could help to fund life changing research into kinder and more effective treatments for children with cancer.

Download our Winter Wellbeing Calendar to log your daily walks as you complete them or plan them in advance. Don’t forget to share your progress on our Facebook group!
