What is sarcoma?

Sarcoma is a tumour cancer that develops in the body’s soft tissues (the most common type), or the bones. It can form in almost any part of the body. Unfortunately, this type of bone cancer is more common in children, teenagers and young adults, with about 670 cases a year, according to Sarcoma.org. Survival rates for those diagnosed with sarcoma are not as high as many other cancers.
