Thanks the the generosity of our supporters, CCLG holds 'cancer specific funds' that are available for research into particular tumour types. These are typically small grants, from £5,000 - £10,000. Applications can be accepted at any time.
In the first instance, you should contact Ashley Gamble, CCLG Executive Director, to ascertain whether funds are available for the tumour type that is the focus of your study. You'll then be asked to provide a brief outline proposal of your research. This will be reviewed by the relevant CCLG Special Interest Group who will make a recommendation as to whether to proceed to the next stage.
At the next stage, you'll be asked to submit a more detailed application. This will be peer reviewed according to our usual procedures, and our Research Advisory Group will make a recommendation about funding to the CCLG Executive, who will make a final decision about your application.
