Around 100 children in the UK are diagnosed with neuroblastoma each year.

  • 50 %

Neuroblastoma mostly affects children under the age of five. Neuroblastoma can be classified into different ‘risk groups’, and while the survival rate for ‘low risk’ neuroblastoma is over 90%, for ‘high risk’ neuroblastoma, which accounts for around half of all diagnosis, survival rates drop to around 50%. Further research is therefore urgently needed to improve outcomes for all children diagnosed with neuroblastoma.

Funds raised by the CCLG Neuroblastoma Research Fund will support world-class research that helps to improve our understanding of neuroblastoma, and find new treatments and cures to improve outcomes for all children diagnosed with neuroblastoma.
