What is the £1K Your Way challenge?
We’re challenging you to raise £1,000 in a year for childhood cancer research.
Your £1,000 could fund genetic tests that help researchers to understand how drugs fight cancer cells. It could fund a research assistant for two weeks. Or it could fund families or young people with cancer to attend meetings so that their input can help guide research projects.
How you do it is completely up to you!
Have fun, raise money and help us to change the future for children with cancer.
How it works
You can choose your own activities throughout the year and reach your £1,000 total however you want:
Want to get active?
Sign up to a 10K run or cycle the distance from Land's End to John O'Groats in a year.
Feeling creative?
Test your baking skills with a bake sale or setting up a charity fashion show.
Involving friends and family?
Host your own quiz night or a charity ball and invite everyone you know to join in!
You can also get involved in some of our CCLG seasonal challenges, like our Winter Wellbeing Walk or 'C' Through September challenge.
Once you sign up, you will also need to set up a JustGiving page for your fundraising.
