Professor Bob Phillips
Bob is a researcher and consultant from Yorkshire specialising in evidence synthesis and supportive care for children with cancer. As a consultant, he is also responsible for helping to educate the next generation of children's cancer doctors and, as a researcher, he advocates for patients and parents within research. Bob spends half of his time working on research at the University of York and half at Leeds Children's Hospital caring for children with cancer. He also works closely with CCLG, as one of Contact magazine's medical advisors, as a researcher working on multiple CCLG Special Named Fund-funded research projects, and as a fundraiser.
