London Global Child Cancer Week CCLG Webinar

Building capacity and quality in nurse training and education - global partnerships in children's cancer care

The CCLG Global Child Cancer group will meet during London Global Cancer Week this year to discuss the importance of building capacity and quality in nurse training and education and global partnerships in children's cancer care

Nurse training and education are fundamental to capacity building in children’s cancer care. This webinar will provide the opportunity to hear directly from nurses engaged in partnership working between the UK, sub-Saharan Africa and Pakistan. Learning, training, support and inspiration work both ways in these rewarding and very important partnerships. How can these initiatives help to further address the ongoing challenges and inequalities in access to cancer care for children and young people? Register to find out.

The group aims to share ideas, strengthen existing links, establish new ones, provide teaching opportunities and inform and inspire any interested people.

During LGCW 2025 we will hear from specialist nurses with a depth of experience working with nurses in LMIC. They will present their past and current work in terms of teaching, training, supporting and inspiring nurses in Africa and Pakistan.
