The trust takes young people aged between 8-24 sailing, to help them regain their confidence on their way to recovery from cancer.

Provides a range of services, all aimed to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and their families.


JTVcancersupport.com (formerly JimmyTeens)

A project for teenagers and young adults who have been affected by cancer. Using all aspects of media it enables young people to explore and express their feelings, and make some sense of their very personal journeys from diagnosis onwards.


Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund

Provides free real-hair wigs for children suffering hair loss from cancer treatment.

Provides care and support for more than 40,000 people living with a terminal illness and their families in the UK each year.


Over The Wall

Over The Wall provides free residential activity camps for children and teenagers living with serious health challenges and their families, to enable them to reach beyond their perceived limitations and rediscover a whole new world of possibilities. Their camps help develop the confidence, self esteem, coping strategies and peer relationships of campers.

Creates world-class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people don’t have to face cancer alone.

Youth Cancer Trust

Provides support and free activity holidays for young people (aged 14 to 30) diagnosed and living with cancer or any malignant disease, from anywhere in the UK and the Irish Republic, or who are patients of any UK hospital.

Action for Sick Children

Provides advice and information for parents with children going to hospital. Offers counselling for parents and has leaflets and videos for children going into hospital.


React

Helping children with life-limiting illness, React works to give children comfort, dignity and where possible, greater independence. This past year, they have supplied a wide range of equipment from specialist wheelchairs, beds, baths, and mobility aids, to essential everyday items like washing machines and tumble dryers.
