Paying in your money
If you’ve organised a fundraising activity or taken part in fundraising either at work or with friends and family, your money really will help us to beat childhood cancer.
Aim to raise at least three times as much as you spend. Draw up a simple budget and stick to it! Work out what things will cost and ask for a charity discount or a donation from your suppliers. If you don't ask, you won't get!
Planning your fundraising event
Even the simplest activities need some planning and preparation. Organising your own event can be challenging, but it should also be fun!
'In aid of' logo
Please use our ‘In aid of’ logo on your promotional materials when advertising your event. This is different from our main charity logo. It makes it clear you are fundraising in aid of the CCLG but that you don’t represent the charity.
The logo should only be used as provided to you. It should never be recreated, distorted or redrawn in any way. Download the logos below.
All uses of the logo should be approved by the Fundraising Team before printing.
CCLG is legally obliged to disclose that it is a registered charity. Please use the line below in its entirety wherever you use the ‘In aid of’ logo.
CCLG: The Children and Young People's Cancer Association is a trading name of Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group. Registered charity no. 1182637 .
For further guidance on how to use our ‘in aid of’ logo and how to talk about CCLG please download to our 'in aid of' logo guidelines.
