Ways to work with us

There are many ways your company can support CCLG, from making a donation to selecting us as your chosen charity.

Charity of the year

Choose CCLG as your Charity of the Year and give your organisation a focus for your fundraising activities.

Typically a Charity of the Year partnership will raise money for CCLG through corporate and staff fundraising events. We can help you to achieve your corporate social responsibility and marketing goals, and offer great fundraising, PR and team-building opportunities. We can work with you to develop a calendar of events and support your team to get involved in our own events and challenges. We can provide a wide range of fundraising materials and merchandise, and offer our full support to help maximise the potential of our partnership.

Sponsorship is a great way to support CCLG while at the same time creating great brand awareness amongst our supporters and your customers.

We have a number of small but growing national fundraising events, including CCLG Christmas Jumper Day, Tea Party for Childhood Cancer and Gold Ribbon Walks. There are also opportunities to sponsor a CCLG meeting, such as one of our educational or scientific membership meetings, or the UK Childhood Cancer Conference, which brings together parents of children with cancer, childhood cancer professionals, and charities.

You can also sponsor a CCLG parent/patient information resource, or an issue of Contact magazine. You could event sponsor a research project into childhood cancer.

Payroll giving

Easy to set up and simple to manage, payroll giving is an effortless and tax-effective way for your staff to support CCLG the whole year round.

Make a donation

Making a one-off or regular donation is a simple way to support CCLG and help us to beat childhood cancer.

Marketing partnerships

Cause related marketing (CRM) - including a donation to CCLG when a product or service is purchased - is a great way to promote your brand and raise funds for us.

Research from Business in the Community shows that 86% of consumers are more likely to buy a product that is associated with a cause or issue and 73% of consumers would switch brands. Benefits can include an increase in sales, low cost customer acquisition, brand differentiation and positive association, an increase in customer loyalty and PR coverage.

Other ways to get involved

There are many simple ways your company can support CCLG, including having our collection boxes on your counter, bar or reception, selling our merchandise such as pin badges and wristbands, or donating goods that our fundraisers can use as raffle or auction prizes.
