When two year old Daniel was diagnosed with cancer, his family’s colleagues at Academy Leasing decided that they wanted to raise funds for CCLG in support of Daniel and to raise awareness of childhood cancer. Through a number of fundraising events, and kind donations from generous friends and supporters, in just five months they raised in excess of £10,000 - an amazing amount of money. Daniel’s family and their colleagues decided that they wanted some of the funds raised to support our research work into rhabdomyosarcoma, the type of cancer with which Daniel was diagnosed.
Your charity is very close to our heart, following the diagnosis of one of our colleagues children, Daniel, who unfortunately at only 2 years old has terminal cancer. We will continue to fundraise for this charity and do as much as we can to raise funds and awareness.
