Post mortem tissue banking

Sadly there are times when cancer can result in death. Having access to these tumour samples after death (post mortem) can be valuable for research, and especially in helping us to understand the biology of these cancers.

We are extremely grateful to all parents who consent to donate their child's tumour tissue after death for use in research through the CCLG Tissue Bank.

I wanted to support any research that may be undertaken into the type of cancer my child died of

We didn't want other parents to lose their child as a result of cancer, so supporting research through donating tissue was something we were keen to do.
