Funding opportunities

CCLG offers funds and grants to researchers to help beat childhood cancer.

Calls for applications will be announced here when they are issued. You can also find out about previous grant rounds.

CCLG Grace Kelly Ladybird Project Grant

Funding is available to support research into paediatric malignant rhabdoid tumours (MRT), or research into multiple rare solid tumours of childhood ideally including MRT. Funded projects will improve our understanding of the disease and help improve the outlook for children. A grant of up to £50,000 is available.

Applications to this funding round should be scientific proposals that study:

  • The accurate diagnosis of MRT, or multiple rare solid tumours of childhood ideally including MRT; or
  • Treatment for MRT, or multiple rare solid tumours of childhood ideally including MRT

Our project grants may support stand-alone projects, research that is part of a wider project or trial, or research that is likely to lead to a further, larger grant application to a major funder of research.

Deadline for applications: 19 March 2017

CCLG small grants

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, CCLG holds 'Cancer Specific Funds' that are available for research into particular tumour types. These are typically small grants, from £5,000-£10,000. Applications can be accepted at any time.
